Terms and Conditions for the “50% off Shipping Fees” Promotion
(“Terms and Conditions”)

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to the “50% off Shipping Fee” promotional campaign (“Promotion”) on the Alibaba.com International Website (www.alibaba.com) (“Alibaba.com Website”).

1. The Promotion: During the Promotion Period (as defined in Clause 2), any  Selected Member (as defined in Clause 5) who satisfies the requirements under Clause 6 shall be entitled to a one-time 50% discount on the shipping fees (excluding any applicable customs duties, taxes and/or other fees as may be levied by any customs authorities with competent jurisdiction as well as any other applicable third-party fees and expenses) applicable to the Purchase Order (as defined in Clause 6), up to a maximum cap of US$00 (twenty US dollars) (the “Promotion”).

2. Promotion Period: The Promotion commences from December 12, 2020 at 00:00:00 (PST) until January 11, 2021 at 23:59:59 (PST) (the “Promotion Period”).  

3. Promoter: Alibaba (China) Technology Co., Ltd, a company incorporated in the People’s Republic of China with its registered office address at No. 699, Wangshang Road, Binjiang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China (the “Promoter”).

4. Availability: This Promotion is available on the Alibaba.com Website, Alibaba.com mobile site, Alibaba iPhone and Android App, as well as Android Pads.

5. Eligible Member: You must fulfil the following requirements in order to be eligible to participate in this Promotion: (a) you must be a registered member of the com Website with a valid buyer account; and (b) you have been notified by the Promoter in writing about your eligibility to participate in this Promotion (“Selected Member”).

6. Promotion-specific Rules

• Each Selected Member shall adhere to the following rules to qualify for and take part in this Promotion:

• (i) Step 1: The Selected Member shall select any of the products on the designated landing page on the Alibaba.com Website for this Promotion (“Selected Products”) which will display selected Trade Assurance suppliers that support any of the following shipping options (“Shipping Option”):

Please ensure that the Selected Product has a “50% Off Shipping” tag below such Selected Product before proceeding to Step 2.

• (ii) Step 2: The Selected Member shall click on the “Start Order” button on the Alibaba.com Website to start a purchase order (“Purchase Order”) and select the preferred Shipping Option as the shipping method for its Selected Product at check-out for the Purchase Order.

• (iii) Step 3: The Selected Member must complete the relevant payment on or before January 11, 2021 23:59:59 (PST).

• The total value of the product in a single Purchase Order (excluding the applicable shipping fees, tax, customs duties and other fees) must exceed US$01 (fifty US dollars and one hundredth of a cent) in order to be entitled to the discount awarded under this Promotion. The Purchase Order will automatically be deleted if the Selected Member places a Purchase Order under this Promotion where payment has not been settled within seven (7) days of placing the relevant Purchase Order.

• Subject to the terms of these Terms and Conditions, upon the submission of a Purchase Order by a Selected Member in accordance with Clause 6(a) above, the Selected Member shall be entitled to a one-time 50% discount on the shipping fees applicable to the Purchase Order (excluding any applicable customs duties, taxes and/or other fees as may be levied by any customs authorities with competent jurisdiction as well as any other applicable third-party fees and expenses), up to a maximum cap of US$00 (twenty US dollars).

• This Promotion shall not apply to any ‘Fulfillment by Amazon’ warehouse addresses and certain specific postcodes as may be determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion.

• The Promotion is only valid for one (1) Purchase Order per Selected Member during the Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt, the available quota for this Promotion is limited (“Quota”) and it shall be determined by the Promoter on a “first-come, first-served” basis based on the relevant payment time of the Purchase Order during the Promotion Period.

• Subject to the availability of the Quota, each Selected Member shall be entitled to enjoy this Promotion for their very first Purchase Order only (and not any other subsequent Purchase Order).

• Shipments that contain batteries (such as model PI966, PI967, PI969 & PI970) shall only be accepted if the required battery certifications and supporting documents have been provided. The Selected Member shall contact the relevant supplier to confirm such specifications and requirements with the Alibaba.com warehouse.

• Selected Members should note there may be a risk that your Selected Product may be destroyed at your expense in the event (i) the Selected Product (or any part thereof) has failed to pass any custom clearance due to any reason attributable to the Selected Member, including but not limited to, the Selected Member’s failure to settle any customs duties and/or levy in relation thereto, or (ii) the Selected Member or the end recipient of the Selected Product refuses to accept the delivery of the Selected Product, and you agree that the Promoter will not be held liable for any loss arising therefrom.

7. Miscellaneous:

• By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as well as to vary or terminate the terms of the Promotion requirements without prior notice to you. In the event of any dispute, the Promoter shall have the right of interpretation and the decision of the Promoter shall be final and binding.

• Any fraud and/or abuse of the offers, benefits and/or discounts awarded/received under this Promotion (“Offers”) by you (as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion) will result in the forfeiture of your eligibility to the Offers and/or may lead to the termination of all or part of your account(s) with the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to deduct the value of any Offers awarded inappropriately to you directly from your account(s) with the Promoter without prior notice and/or take legal action in such instances to recover any outstanding amounts.

• In the event that the Promotion is cancelled or suspended by any relevant authorities or due to a serious network attack or system failure or any other reasons, the Promotion may be terminated prematurely without prior notice to you. Such a situation shall constitute a force majeure event and the Promoter shall not be liable for any damages or claims arising out of the force majeure

• The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or undeliverable entries, responses, or other correspondence, whether by e-mail or otherwise.

• In the event that the Promotion becomes inoperable due to any computer network related reasons, you agree that the Promoter shall not be held liable for any damages.

• The timing and validity of any transactions and/or your eligibility to the Offers shall be determined by the Promoter at its sole discretion based on the Promoter’s own records. If there is any discrepancy between the transaction records held by you and that of the Promoter, the Promoter’s records shall be conclusive and binding on you.

• The Promoter reserves the right and absolute discretion to cancel or revoke your right to participate in a Promotion or use any Offers, upon the discovery of your violation of these Terms and Conditions or your dishonest, malicious, fraudulent, unlawful or, in the opinion of the Promoter, inappropriate acts in your participation in the

• In case of any discrepancy in the interpretation between the English and other non-English language versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

• In the event that any of the terms in these Terms and Conditions conflict with any rules and/or any related information displayed elsewhere on the com Website, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

• TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, In no event will the promoter be liable to YOU for any direct, INDIRECT, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages (including loss of use, LOSS OF data, LOSS OF business or profits) arising out of or in connection with your participation in thIS PROMOTION, whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not THE PROMOTER HAs been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.

• You acknowledge and agree that the Promoter and/or any of its affiliates shall not be responsible, and shall have no liability to any third party for any dispute or claim that arises out of your participation in the Promotion.

• You agree that this Promotion and these Terms and Conditions are governed, interpreted and enforced by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all legal actions, claims or proceedings arising out of, or in connection with this Promotion must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Hong Kong.
