Using Eventbrite to promote events

While in-person events and trade shows remain on pause, SMBs need to keep virtual events top of mind — both attending them and hosting them. If you’re thinking of hosting and promoting your own event, Eventbrite is the perfect place to do so.

Eventbrite is a global platform that millions of people use to promote and attend events. What many don’t know is it's also a great way for business owners to maximize their data collection and improve their marketing processes. Angel Mills, Founder of Angel Mills Brand Strategy, shares her tips on how to use Eventbrite to successfully promote your next event and capture the information you need from attendees.

One area Angel focuses on is the “Order Options” page. This page is frequently overlooked when creating an event on Eventbrite but is a goldmine for data collection. Spend just a little time on this page and it will pay off. You have the ability to customize your order form. You select the fields you want required or optional. Angel recommends making first name, last name, email address, and cell phone number required fields. This way you can follow up with all attendees after the event. You also have the option to add custom fields. If there is specific information you want to know, add it!

There are plenty of features on Eventbrite you can use to promote your event and capture data. Hear from Angel on the best practices for using Eventbrite and they way you can take full advantage of their offerings.
